LONDON, UK. February 11th, 2025 - Car sharing marketplace Turo has revealed the most romantic drives to take ahead of Valentines Day weekend as more Brits skip the cliché meal out.
A recent YouGov poll revealed that just 6% of Brits spent Valentine’s Day at a restaurant with their partner or date in 2024*, as more people look for alternatives to the usual meal at a restaurant. With this in mind Turo has collated some of the most romantic drives from around the UK.
Cotswolds Drive
It’s no surprise that the Cotswolds takes the top spot on this list. With its idyllic rolling hills, charming honey coloured stone cottages, and historic villages, this area feels like a scene from a romantic novel, and actually is too - think Bridget Jones's Diary, filmed in a small village by Snowshill.

The Lake District
