The Future of Toys is Carved in Marble
LONDON, UK. 25th November, 2024 - Marble Adventures and MyMiniFactory are proud to be releasing not just the evolution of the marble run but a genuine shift in the conception and production of 3D-printed toys.

The question of when 3D-printing will change the Toy Market has been answered.

With Marble Adventures, the power and freedom of 3D-printing is being matched with phenomenal creative vision, producing a unique playscape often dreamed of. No more sterile engineering focused aesthetics, instead Marble Adventures presents a world full of mystery, whimsy, and stories. The fully 3D-printable game allows anyone at home to easily 3D-print and assemble unique and infinite marble-runs one block at a time.

3D-printing brings affordable local manufacturing with biodegradable plastic

The construction toy market is a sector with a predicted rise of 11.9% from 2024 to 2030. But with this growth comes an increase in the challenges the toy market continues to face.

With long production timeframes, overseas manufacturing and shipping, customs hold-ups, & excessive packaging that increases the world’s plastic waste. Every one of these can be solved by 3D-printing with a biodegradable PLA at home, where everyone owning a desktop 3D-printer, a device now easy to use and affordable, becomes a manufacturer, supporting the emergence of a truly fully decentralised manufacturing world.

Marble Adventures a fully 3D-printable marble run game by the Dungeon Blocks team.

Marble Adventures builds on the benefits of construction toy play in early childhood, including problem-solving skills, motor skills, creativity, and imagination, by joining a rich art style with immersive storytelling. The child gains STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills while igniting their imagination as well, learning through play with a hands-on experience that encourages experimentation and exploration, effectively engaging young minds.

From its inception, Marble Adventures has been designed to bring people together. This is represented not just in play, but also in the creation of the beautiful blocks used to build your adventures. This provides a meaningful relationship with the toy rather than the disposable consumerism that is prevalent in today’s market. It affords the opportunity to return to the days when a guardian would make a child’s beloved toy, but all with the ease of modern technology.

Marble Adventures is brought to you by the team behind the extremely successful Dungeon Blocks gaming tiles. Rather than a faceless corporation, deaf to your suggestions, they are actively working with their community to build a symbiotic marketplace, which we believe is the future of toy making.

More than a game…it’s an Adventure!

Forget those boring technical marble-run tracks of the 80s and 90s, with Marble Adventures every course becomes a unique playground filled with traps, ramps, and fantastical creatures. Marble Adventures makes building tracks fun with stunning visuals and themed courses designed to help you tell your own stories through complex jungle mazes, limited only by your imagination.

Are you ready to dive into a marble experience that pushes the boundaries of entertainment and your 3D printers capability? Can you print the biggest track!?

The FronTier campaign will run from December 16th 2024 until January 16th 2025 on MyMiniFactory and sign-ups for launch notifications are live now, with a 5% discount to use on the campaign. For the first time in a Dungeon Blocks campaign we will also be offering a Merchant and Educators Tiers, with special licenses for using and selling the printed toy.
