Rising Star: Nekoda Garrett Captivates the Attention of Hollywood

LONDON, UK. 26th February, 2024 - Australian born actress and dancer Nekoda Garrett is currently cast for multiple projects and is working alongside world renowned film director, Gil Junger for an upcoming piece. Gil directed the award winning romantic comedy 10 Things I Hate About You starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Julia Styles and Heath Ledger.

Originating form the Gold Coast now based in the UK, Nekoda commenced her ballet training at the age of four with the Katherine Maddock Dance School and went on to study with the Ransley Academy and Dance Academy on the Gold Coast. During her intensive training, she was awarded a full scholarship to study with the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, then after at the Australian Ballet School. Nekoda completed her Professional training performing in Europe with the Theatre Basel Balletschule in Switzerland, graduating with Honours. 

As a highly accomplished dancer, Nekoda has worked alongside the New English Contemporary Ballet Company travelling across the country performing in various ballet pieces. Nekoda also holds a large fan base of over 500,000 active followers across her social media platforms and works alongside a variety of brands across skincare, make-up and fashion. 

Nekoda currently trains under the famous Mel Churcher, who has coached the likes of Daniel Craig, Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightly for various projects across the Film, TV and Theatre industries. She's now set her sights on acting as the next industry to shine in.
