LUTON, UK. January 8th, 2024 – Independent UK rap artist POLISH has proudly announced the release of his highly anticipated debut album, POLISH’ED. Jan Paszkowiec, from Luton, has been working on his music for the last 12 years and is delighted to finally share his first album.
Featuring 22 original tracks that fuse rap with an underground bass-heavy sound, this groundbreaking album is set to make waves in the music world with its raw energy, explicit lyricism, and bold and innovative sound.
POLISH is a self-taught artist who creates every aspect of his music completely independently. The 45-year-old discovered his passion for creating music over a decade ago, when he decided to leave his career to pursue it.
From writing his own songs to producing tracks using Logic Pro on his iMac, POLISH brings his vision to life with zero outside assistance. This independence has shaped his distinct sound, which combines pulsating basslines with explicit lyrics to deliver an unforgettable listening experience.
POLISH describes his new release as ‘an introduction to his art’. He added: “When I first started out I had no idea what I had to do and it's not until having to come through so much adversity it makes me more determined.
“What started out as a hobby has turned out to be the best thing I ever did. I have many musical influences that have inspired me which define the dark style of my music.”
POLISH’ED is the first of six albums POLISH plans to release, with a further two expected to be shared with the public this year.
Standout tracks from the album include:
- 01. Are you listening to me?
- 02. Best take notice
- 13. So What!
- 22. Boom the Bass
Each track showcases POLISH’s artistry and his dedication to creating a sound that pushes boundaries and makes a statement. With no resources or industry backing, he has crafted an album that speaks to both underground music lovers and bass enthusiasts alike.
POLISH’ED is available now on all major streaming platforms. Dive into the world of POLISH and experience his debut album on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube.
