Pow Food Becomes First UK Catering Company To Offer 12 Month Nutritional Education Calendar
LONDON, UK. January 23rd, 2025 - Pow Food, the UK’s first female B Corp catering company, today announces its new 12 Month Nutritional Education Calendar, giving organisations access to all the resources required to provide employees with balanced, nutrient-rich meals, aligned with educational, health awareness themes and cultural events.

Incorporating nutritional education and healthy meal options can significantly enhance the effectiveness of wellbeing programs. By addressing the foundational role of nutrition, employers can make meaningful strides in combating workplace stress and supporting mental health.

Pow Food’s purpose-driven approach goes beyond catering. 40% of organisations cite rising employee stress levels, and 55% of employees at a typical UK workplace feel that their organisation prioritises wellbeing. Pow Food ensures its meals not only nourish but also create moments of connection and education. Pow Food is currently the only catering company in the UK to offer this initiative and aims to set the standard and normalise this approach throughout 2025.

Ali Warburton, CEO and co-founder of Pow Food, said: "Every bite of food we take is either brain fuel or brain fog, and companies are waking up to the fact that educating their workforce in good nutrition is the cornerstone of wellness in the workplace.”

Pow Food bridges the gap of limited on-site wellness resources, by delivering nutritionally designed catering that accommodates different budgets and requirements, fuelling productivity and supporting long-term health of employees. Pow Food’s approach is reinforced by expert-led online workshops to educate teams, providing nutritional information and resources for actionable learning. With options meeting diverse dietary needs, Pow Food provides practical, measurable solutions.

Recent studies indicate that without a foundational focus on healthy eating, efforts, such as lunchtime yoga, mindfulness sessions and other wellness initiatives will fall short. The Mental Health Foundation emphasises that "one of the most obvious yet under-recognised factors in the development of mental health is nutrition," highlighting the critical role diet plays in mental and physical wellbeing.

To access the calendar and for more information, prices and how organisations can get involved, Pow Food offers free consultations via its online form. Those interested can leave their details and a Pow Food team member will be in contact.
