LONDON, UK, 8th March 2024 – Oyster IMS is delighted to announce that it has been approved as a Qualified Consultancy to implement the LOCS:23 standard, with proven expertise in data protection legislation.
The Legal Services Operational Privacy Certification Scheme (LOCS:23) is the ICO’s official certification scheme for legal service providers to demonstrate their UK GDPR compliance.
LOCS:23 certification will offer decisive advantages to law firms and chambers, including shielding against ICO enforcement and fines, a competitive advantage to win more work, reducing data breaches and associated costs, ensuring universally recognised compliance, and simplifying procurement processes.
Oyster IMS is proud to have two team members already certified as Approved Implementors, who can assist our clients in achieving the LOCS:23 certification for their firms.
