Leading HR consulting firm evolves into tech platform KAYA Wellbeing Index
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE, UK. October 11th, 2024 - Former consultancy firm Riddle Box has successfully evolved into a transformative tech platform as KAYA Wellbeing Index, to revolutionise how businesses approach employee wellbeing.

Founded by Ram Raghavan as a consultancy service, with a mission to empower one million people over the next two years, the platform provides companies with the tools to improve employee engagement, retention, and productivity by integrating emotional wellbeing metrics with performance data.

As a leader in the HR space, Kaya Wellbeing Index’s approach stands out for its comprehensive three-pronged strategy: measuring employee and customer experience, correlating it with performance data, and conducting workshops to address gaps in culture and connectivity. This hands-on support has helped numerous businesses, including Hilton and Volvo, enhance employee engagement, improve staff retention, using Kaya’s data-driven insights.

The evolution of Riddle Box has come after Ram Raghavan lost his consultancy clients when he was hospitalised with COVID-19 during the pandemic.

“I lost all my consultancy clients and had no revenue or team,” Raghavan said.

Determined to overcome the setback, he reskilled, returned to his coding roots, and built the tech platform that would ultimately define Kaya Wellbeing Index today. Raghavan’s experience of rebuilding his business while recovering from a life-threatening illness has fuelled his drive to help others take control of their wellbeing and work towards achieving their best potential.

Alongside his passion for technology, Raghavan is also a prolific author and thought leader. He has written three books on human capital management, contributed policy papers for the King’s Fund, and worked with over 100 leaders of many multinational companies. These accomplishments, combined with his role as joint chair of the Institute of Sales Professionals, showcase his expertise and lifelong commitment to improving leadership practices and workplace cultures.

With Kaya Wellbeing Index, Raghavan has brought his decades of knowledge and experience into a cutting-edge platform to give SMEs the resources they need to tackle people-related challenges as aggressively as large corporations.
