ST MARTIN, Guernsey. March 3rd, 2025 – Catherine Best, a world-class jewellery designer renowned for her inspiring creations, is proud to introduce the Gift of Hope campaign.
With a legacy spanning over 35 years, Catherine’s work has always been guided by love and meaning. Now, through this initiative, she is sharing that passion by giving back in a deeply personal way.
For Catherine, jewellery is more than adornment, it is a symbol of sentiment and connection. During the challenges of COVID-19, she found beauty in the lotus flower, an emblem of strength, resilience and rebirth, retreating into the water each evening and emerging anew each morning, beautiful and untouched.
Her interest in the lotus flower and what it represents came after she was diagnosed with cancer and began undergoing chemotherapy treatment herself. From this, the Hope Collection was born.
Catherine said: “After being diagnosed with cancer and beginning chemotherapy, I have been deeply moved by the kindness and support I have received.
“The Hope Pendant holds profound meaning for me, which is why I am donating 10 of these pendants to those facing difficult times as a symbol of hope.”
Through the Gift of Hope campaign, Catherine is now planning to pass on that same kindness to others — whether someone is overcoming personal challenges, needs a reminder that they are valued, or continues to be a source of hope to others.
She is now inviting people to nominate a friend, family member, or community member facing challenging times to receive a free Hope Pendant. There are 10 pendants to be given away to those deserving nominees.
Nominations can be submitted by simply completing the form to share their story in confidence with and explain why they should be chosen to receive one of the limited edition pendants.
