Former Xero UK CEO Joins Mazuma Board of Directors

BRIDGEND, UK. 6th August, 2024 - Today, Mazuma has announced the appointment of Gary Turner, the former UK CEO and Co-Founder of software giant Xero, to their Board of Directors.

 

In January 2024, Mazuma landed a multi-million-pound investment from Innovation Investment Capital Limited Partnership (IIC) to fuel its growth and innovation plans and help it further disrupt the traditional micro-business accountancy space. Co-Founder, Lucy Cohen, was appointed as CEO coincident with the investment.

Gary Turner was pivotal in establishing and leading the UK operations of the global cloud accounting platform Xero, which has more than 4 million business subscribers today. The former Microsoft executive spent 12 years on Xero’s global leadership team and brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in technology, operations, and strategy to Mazuma’s board.
