Access BDD Establishes Permanent Presence in US with New Tampa Facility
TAMPA, Florida. February 3rd, 2025 – Access BDD, a leading provider of home mobility solutions, has officially secured its footprint in the United States by finalising a lease agreement for a 6,250-square-foot facility in the Pinellas Park area of Tampa, Florida. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion strategy, reinforcing its commitment to better serving dealers and customers across North America.

The new facility will serve as a dedicated training and support hub, providing hands-on technical training for Access BDD’s growing network of dealers. Designed to enhance product knowledge and service capabilities, the centre will ensure dealers are fully equipped to deliver the highest standard of customer experience.

“Establishing a permanent base in the US is a pivotal step in our journey to becoming the global brand of choice for home mobility solutions,” said Melissa Davies, Head of Business Development North America. “With this new facility, we are strengthening our presence in the market, enhancing support for our dealers, and reinforcing our long-term commitment to North America.”

In addition to training, the Tampa site will provide office space to support the company’s expanding operations. The facility will play a key role in Access BDD’s broader growth strategy, enabling the team to foster closer relationships with dealers, develop market-specific initiatives, and accelerate business development efforts.

The launch of Access BDD’s US facility comes at a pivotal time, aligning with the company’s introduction of the Supra Linea inclined platform lift to the North American market. First showcased at the NAEC convention in late 2024, the Supra Linea represents a significant addition to Access BDD’s portfolio, offering an innovative, space-efficient solution for accessibility in commercial and residential settings.

“The US has long been a key market for home mobility solutions, and our investment in this new facility underscores our commitment to growing our presence and supporting our dealers with even greater resources,” said Andrew Warbrick, Managing Director of Access BDD. “With the launch of the Supra Linea and a dedicated base in Tampa, we are well-positioned to help our dealers succeed and deliver high-quality mobility solutions to customers across North America.”

Access BDD is planning an official launch event for the new Tampa facility, with further details to be announced soon. In the meantime, the company is encouraging its existing dealers to take advantage of the new training opportunities and support available.

For dealers who are not currently working with Access BDD, this expansion presents an excellent opportunity to discover new partnerships. The company encourages interested businesses to reach out and learn more about how Access BDD can help them grow in the stairlift and home mobility market.
