General
We offer same-day press release distribution Monday through Friday for orders received before 3 p.m.
Once your order is confirmed, our team will review your press release and create your custom-built media list. If your content meets our editorial guidelines and doesn’t require edits, we will distribute it promptly. If further proofreading or adjustments are needed, this may delay distribution.
We’re able to offer a white-labelled service to our clients to ensure that the PR Fire name and/or branding does not appear associated with the content we distribute.
Once your distribution campaign is complete, you will receive a distribution report containing the following information for each media contact to whom your press release was distributed: Name, Job Title, Outlet, Visits Last Month, Circulation, Audience and Frequency.
24 – 48 working hours later, you will receive a follow-up report containing any guaranteed publishing placements you have ordered.
Our market-leading press release distribution service is pay-as-you-go, with no subscription fees or contracts. With PR Fire, you stay in control of your budget by ordering as needed.
Yes – By purchasing a bulk distribution package, you can make some BIG savings that will really impact your marketing budget. Once purchased, credits remain valid for 12 months.

If your desired industry isn’t available in our online order form, please reach out directly and we’ll create a list tailored to you.
The timeline for media coverage largely depends on the story’s nature.
If your press release is time-sensitive, for example, if it covers a breaking news story or an upcoming event, it’s likely to be covered right away or within a few days. However, a story without any time constraints may be categorised as a “long-lead” by journalists and revisited later.
As most journalists work on both a short and long-lead basis, it’s not possible to accurately give a timeline for when your story will be used.
PR Fire does not currently offer a media monitoring service. If we receive any earned coverage links, opportunities, feedback or enquiries in response to our email, we will forward these to you.
To locate earned coverage for your story, we advise setting up Google alerts for brand mentions or using a media monitoring tool. To find relevant coverage using a simple Google search, use quotation marks on either side of your search query to bring back exact matches, and use the “Tools” selection to refine your search to recent results.
Using a Google search may not pick up all coverage, and so we recommend using a media monitoring tool for a more accurate picture of your campaign’s results.
Our team works incredibly quickly, and we are not able to change your press release after distribution, so we advise checking your copy, images, and links very carefully before placing your order.
We cannot make any changes to posts on any of our guaranteed publishing placements once they have been published.
We always include your media contact details in our distribution so journalists may contact you directly with coverage and/or opportunities to collaborate. However, if they choose to reply to our distribution instead, we will pass this on to you to follow up on. If the journalist feels they have everything they need, they may cover the story without any follow-up or communication.
Your press release does not have an expiration date and will remain in our system and the journalist’s inbox unless deleted.
However, for any guaranteed publishing, we cannot control their longevity as this depends on the third parties involved; therefore, we cannot guarantee that these will remain live indefinitely.
PR Fire accepts press releases that are newsworthy, accurate, and professionally structured. Suitable content includes business or news announcements such as company events, organisational milestones, expansions, annual profit reports, or competitions.
Our editorial team moderates each individual press release before it is included on the PR Fire website and distributed via third parties.
Content that reads like an advertisement, lacks news value, or does not comply with our editorial guidelines will not be accepted.
We adhere to strict editorial guidelines to ensure all content is newsworthy, accurate, and professionally formatted.
Common reasons for rejection include:
- The submission is not a news story or announcement. PR Fire does not accept promotional articles or general content or blog posts unrelated to a specific event or milestone.
- The press release does not meet the required word count (minimum 400 words, maximum 1500 words).
- Grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, or aggressive language are present.
- The content reads like an advertisement rather than informing the media or public about a noteworthy topic.
- The press release lacks proper structure or is not written in the third person.
- Duplicate content or non-compliance with a hyperlink or formatting rules.
For full details, check out our full Editorial Guidelines.
PR Fire prohibits content that includes aggressive language, slanderous comments, or references to ongoing legal cases. We do not accept content that is offensive, inflammatory, racist, sexually explicit, or promotes violence or terrorism.
Additionally, press releases with duplicate content, promotional hyperlinks, or those that fail to meet our editorial guidelines will be rejected. All submissions must focus on legitimate news stories and avoid overly promotional or irrelevant topics.
Guaranteed Publishing
You can choose guaranteed publishing on a wide range of high-authority news outlets.
You can select these on a per-publication basis within our user-friendly order form. Meeting your campaign goals has never been easier.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee media coverage as part of our standard distribution package.
Our expert distribution team will use their industry skills and experience to ensure your press release is distributed to relevant media journalists, reporters, and bloggers specific to your industry and/or press release topics. When it comes to generating organic coverage, it’s ultimately up to the journalist to decide what they wish to cover – and this can be influenced by a wide variety of factors outside of our control.
If you have a particular publication in mind that you wish to include in your distribution list, we can add this contact to our distribution list upon request. Alternatively, we offer a range of guaranteed publishing options starting from just £45.
Content syndication is when web-based content is re-published by a third-party website. Any digital content, including blog posts, articles, infographics, and videos, can be syndicated.
Some of our guaranteed publishing placements do not accept press releases related to a range of sensitive or controversial topics.
These can include political opinions or discussions, election-related content, civil news, radical religious views, hateful language, legal cases or lawsuits, firearms, sex-related products or services, controversial AI solutions like deepfakes, psychoactive drugs, making money online schemes, gambling, and speculative or unregulated financial topics. Releases about body modifications, alternative weight loss products, mystical practices, or blockchain projects focused on wealth creation are also prohibited.
Content must focus on legitimate, newsworthy topics and avoid non-news or promotional material.

SEO
SEO stands for search engine optimisation. In simple terms, it means the process of improving your site to increase its visibility when people search for products or services online. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business.
Press releases can utilise SEO, specifically keywords, to improve the chance of being found for certain search queries. Backlinks added to press releases can also improve the ranking of the website it’s pointing to.
A SERP (search engine results page) is the page that a search engine returns after a user submits a search query. In addition to organic search results, SERPs usually include paid search and pay-per-click (PPC) ads.
Thanks to SEO, ranking position on a SERP can be highly competitive since users are more likely to click on results at the top of the page.
Domain Authority is a search engine ranking score. It is NOT a Google algorithm or ranking factor. However, it is designed to predict how a website will rank in SERPs (search engine results page).
Domain Authority is calculated based on linking root domains and total links and can be used to compare websites. Because it’s a comparative metric, rather than an absolute, it can fluctuate depending on the link building performance of other sites.
Syndicating a well-written press release that includes backlinks to your website can help strengthen your site’s Domain Authority.
By syndicating your content, you’re driving visibility to audiences you may have struggled to gain access to in the past. Being cited online boosts your presence and accessible – increasing your site traffic, exposing you to other demographics and generating leads. Plus, being seen on the right sites helps establish your business as an industry authority.
