Tokyo brand ESC launches a new fashion and lifestyle collection blending Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary, creative designs.
TOKYO, JAPAN. 30th September, 2024 - Tokyo-based premium fashion and lifestyle brand ESC launches its new fashion and homeware collections, seamlessly blending contemporary art from renowned British artist with the finest Japanese fabrics and innovative dyeing techniques.

Building on the exceptional Japanese craftsmanship that lies at the heart of ESC, a dynamic touch is added through a unique artwork by British artist Weirdcore, renowned for creating captivating visuals for some of the world's most celebrated musicians. This one-of-a-kind print, inspired by cutting-edge music, adds a bold accent to both your fashion and living space. The new homeware collection features premium textiles crafted from natural raw materials, combining refined design with genuine comfort and a strong commitment to ethical values.

The collection includes nine cushion designs, three bag models, and various accessories such as caps, stoles, and belts, alongside a shirt. These items will be available starting mid-October 2024 at the ESC online store and the London-based select shop, Wolf & Badger. The full clothing collection is set to launch in November.

HOMEWARE
To elevate everyday life with contemporary, timeless design and the finest quality, ESC has introduced its homeware category. The debut cushion collection is crafted from luxurious cashmere-blend wool and organic cotton fabrics, sourced from renowned Japanese textile makers. The intricate printing is meticulously handcrafted by celebrated dyeing studios in Kyoto and Tokyo, known for their century-long expertise in blending traditional craftsmanship with innovation. The unique music-themed artwork, paired with the rich Iron Grey from traditional Japanese mineral dyes and the soft Pale Pink from Akane (madder root) herbal dyes, adds a refined design touch to your interior.

BAG
The new Carrier Bag is a sophisticated blend of bucket bag and paper bag designs, offering practicality with its versatile two-way wear—either over the shoulder or as a sling. Crafted with the finest Takashima canvas for the outer shell and Enshu cotton for the lining, both sourced from renowned Japanese textile makers, it combines the durability of canvas with the comfort of 100% organic cotton. The vibrant artwork by British artist Weirdcore adds a fresh, stylish accent to any look.

CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
Contemporary interpretations were added to the universal design of the 5-panel cap, shirt, duty jacket, and work trousers, that symbolize the art and music culture of the 80’s. The silhouettes have been updated with a modern nuance, using the finest cashmere-blend wool from a renowned Japanese manufacturer known for producing the highest quality worsted fabrics. Additionally, the collection features 100% organic cotton from the esteemed Enshu cotton weaver. Weirdcore's artwork is meticulously applied to the shirts and stoles by master dyeing artisans in Kyoto and Tokyo, ensuring an exceptional level of craftsmanship.
