CAMBRIDGESHIRE, UK, 8 December 2023 - Runway Training, a leading provider of specialist support for adult learners, has commissioned a bespoke double decker bus from the UK’s leading promotional bus company Roadshow Promotions as part of their Multiply tour.
Multiply, a government initiative helps adults develop their numeracy skills and understand how these skills can be applied in daily life at home and work.
As part of the Multiply tour, the double decker bus has been used as a hub to engage with communities in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, making stops at prominent locations such as Cambridge Retail Park, Imperial War Museum Duxford, and in Ely and Wisbech.
The bus serves as a mobile learning hub, providing interactive experiences and educational resources to help adults enhance their numeracy skills and gain confidence in using them in their daily lives.

The double decker bus, which is part of Roadshow Promotions modular promotional bus fleet, has been tailored to fit the specific needs of the tour with external and internal branding, a seating layout to aid learning, as well as a hospitality and kitchen area to provide refreshments for all those who stepped aboard.
The modular design of the bus has allowed for quick recommissioning during breaks in the tour, ensuring that it was efficiently and quickly deployed for the future legs of the campaign.

Runway Training is dedicated to supporting adult learners in acquiring new skills and qualifications, and the Multiply tour with a bus at its fore aims to bring these opportunities right to the heart of local communities. The initiative has been well-received with visitors to the educational bus including a wide range of individuals from representatives of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), local councillors, and Chamber of Commerce officials, as well as hard-to-reach members of the public.
